The Teamakers

In this section, we want to tell some stories about our teas, our encounters with tea masters and farmers. 

We travel every year in Nepal and all around China, especially in very remote areas, for we are animated by a true ethnographic spirit: the study and preservation of traditional cultures and livelihoods, including their local expertise and skills. It's only by comparing with other cultural and symbolic systems that we are able to improve ourselves and our own society.

In the subpages, you can find a brief life story and description related to our tea producers, even bits of history, so you can hopefully rejoice, imbue yourself with new knowledge while drinking your tea. Maybe you will even discover unexpected nuances then!
