Ilam Tea, Nepal
In this page, you can find our teas from Ilam, Eastern Nepal. Tea is cultivated in this region since at least the middle of the XIX century, when the Emperor Qing of China donated some tea seeds to the then King of Nepal. In contrast to other big tea estates in the region, who tend to monopolize the market and exploit the farmers, we sell tea from Organic Tea Cooperatives near Barbote township and empower directly the producers.
